It was a great experience & staff was accommodating. Perfect hotel for unbeatable prices.
One day here feels lovely, decent base for exploring Waltham Cross. Comfy beds.
Everything was surprisingly much more than we expected, and staff were pleasant. The room was decent size.
Good location and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast and great prices.
We were only there in the evening and only had a few drinks at the hotel bar. Departure was at 4am - we chose the hotel because it is about 30 minutes away from Stansted airport and we had a very early flight. The hotel is very nice overall, unfortunately it is far away from really interesting places.
Very comfortable beds. Attentive and extremely friendly staff. The park-like facility is very relaxing.
The condition of the furnishings reveals a long period of use. Here and there the furniture should have be improved. But price performance is absolutely proportional.
Beautiful typical old house, neat atmosphere, nice staff. Comfortable beds. All fine and as expected. I have not used recreation area, but it seems to be a very beautiful and large.
Unfortunately, like so many of these venues, it is very close to a motorway. Accordingly, the noise can already be heard, but that didn't bother me for a short stay.
The staff were so lovely and always seemed happy to help with what ever you askedalso the food in the restaurant on the evening was beautiful well to be fair so was breakfast very nice as well
The room I had was fantastic for the money I paid defenetly go back wonderful view .
The morning breakfast. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, the waitress was very attentative, providing quick service and also wished us a very enjoyable day.
Your reception looks as though it is in the wrong location and should be where the gravel entrance is through double doors. (Sure many people pull up in this area thinking it is reception ans have to drive around to the furthest point to the hotel. The location of the Bar should be more central to where the Pation area is to the rear of the Hotel.
The lovely location so close to london and yet felt as if it was in the countryside. The old part of the building was spectacular, the room spaces in the old part felt elegant.
Only the double bed was a bit too small and the matress too bouncy for a good nights sleep with a tall and restless husband.
My room was part of a stable block which opened out into a courtyard. There was a wedding in the courtyard and a speaker at my door so could not hear the tv. Complained to reception but the manager never returned the call as promised.
Convenience for access to M25
The room I stayed in 210 was a bit dated.
The location and its surroundings were excellent and potentially the hotel is a astunning venue for parties. A couple of the staff were lovely and helpful.
The gardens around the main building of the hotel could have done with a bit of sprucing up and weeding....especially when it used for hosting weddings on a hot day! Some of the staff were a little indifferent.
Old fashioned values in a modern luxury setting with great attention to detail. Beautiful gardens and surroundings, quality furnishings, lovely food. I will return.
